Climate change and global warming challenge food security and the environment, particularly in developing countries. Most climate change effects will be felt in Africa, exacerbating existing hardships like water shortages and lack of sanitation.

CWED focuses on identifying and developing strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation. We aim to increase awareness through outreach programs, involve women in climate change understanding, and provide training on adapting to extreme conditions.
