The risk posed by unsafe drinking water and inadequate sanitation practices, amidst other environmental threats to health, necessitates immediate intervention at all levels. Environmental sanitation is particularly poor in villages with inadequate waste disposal systems. Urban areas also face high levels of environmental risks, such as damage to septic tanks and waste management problems due to high population density and inadequate recycling strategies.
CWED aims to improve sustainable access to clean water and adequate sanitation for both urban and rural areas. We intend to protect natural water sources by raising awareness about contamination dangers and promoting hygiene and sanitation in schools, rural, and urban communities. We also aim to support preventive measures against environmental-related diseases and sensitize policymakers, industries, and other stakeholders.
Focused on improving access to clean water and sanitation, managing waste, and protecting water resources.
